The Idea is Born

The idea of using artificial intelligence for customs classification is developed within our team. We recognize the potential and set the goal of creating a solution.

Development of a Prototype

After analyzing existing customs processes, we create a functional prototype. This allows us to explore the limits and challenges of AI classification.

The Breakthrough

Our team achieves the breakthrough: automated customs classification is within reach. We successfully implement the technology and begin refining the solution.

Market Readiness and Founding of TariffPilot

The market-ready solution is developed and TariffPilot GmbH is founded. With our tool, we set new standards in automated customs classification.

Release of the Export Control Classification

We expand TariffPilot to include export control classification, providing our customers with even more comprehensive solutions in customs and foreign trade.

    Dominik brings years of experience as a customs officer and now advises companies on customs matters. He supports the implementation of customs IT systems and is also a lecturer. His expertise in AI prompting and engineering brings valuable insights to TariffPilot.

    Dr. Ulrich Wolffgang

    CTO

    Ulrich leads the technical development of TariffPilot. With his experience in cloud platforms and core banking systems, he ensures a scalable system for large enterprises. He holds a PhD in business informatics and was an IT architect at BCG Platinion.
